~Review: Toronto Trip~

I'm seriously in the mood of updating about my infamous Toronto Trip back in October 2010 (I know it is been like a few months back) but the internet is taking such a freaking long time. However, I am giving a bit of a review before going into details later on. The trip as a whole is a gift from heaven. I don't know how to say it in words but every step that I took as soon as I stepped down from the plane in Pearson Airport was worth it. Every moment that I took there was a memorable one. Every night that I spent there was giving me a reason to smile. I dared to dream again because I knew that I was back there for a reason. Meeting the people that I love, to name a few: Jennifer (the best friend that God gave me to cheer me up during my sad times and gives me encouragement), Tharini (the best friend that was teaching me how to live life), Helen (my best friend who is always being herself). I also spent my time in Hamilton with Ci Juni and Ko Yos, the couple that always pray for me and my dream. I am being thankful.

I got to say that coming back to Jakarta (again) was a hard thing to do. My tears wouldn't disappear. They come every time I realize I had to leave. I was begging that I would not leave Toronto ever again but my plead was ignored. Spending a month in Toronto was like living in a fairy tale. It was a happy-ending. It was beautiful. It was magical.

One thing that I will always remember...on that weird snowy day....God will grant my wish...in HIS time. One day for sure....

PS: I will go into more details about my trip...but I won't go day by day because I don't want to write 30 entries because it's crushing me to the bone to go all over again. So, till the next post when time and internet connection permit.

Off I go...

This still feels like a dream....I am finally leaving for Toronto tomorrow. This feels so unreal...

My mind is so unoccupied...I don't dare to think...I fear that this dream would stop when I wake up...

I'm finally going back....despite its temporary period. I would enjoy every second...

Thank you God for letting me go....bring me back to this lovely land.....where I find peace and love...

I will come back here with full details ^ ^

PS: I will miss my mom terribly for being away from her for 3 weeks! I love you, mom!

I'm going home....in less than a month!

Thank God....in a month I will be home...I will explore all the places that have been conquering my dreams at night...I will share love with the people that have once been in my life...I will be in Toronto, a place I call home...

Thank You, Lord for the opportunity...I can't thank YOU enough...

PS: I will definitely share each details of this trip... ;)

Jogja Trip (Aug 2010)

I think I will be updating lots about my trip...hahahaa...well, I'm a traveling fetish...I travel way too much!

This Jogja trip came up accidentally...OHI girls decided that we are gonna go crazy and do girls trip to Jogjakarta because Jutin and Lia haven't been to Jogja. So, after months of planning, we finally hit Jogja for 4 days and 3 nights.

We departed Jakarta at wee hour at 0600 (I really don't know why I've been taking early flight). We stayed at Ibis Jogjakarta for the whole time. We took too many photos that I would only choose some, trust me...what I uploaded here was only 0,00001% of what we had taken! Haahahaha.....

I apologize if my blog seemed to be rushed....hahahaha...hey....at least I uploaded it....and since xanga changed its layout to be a little bit user friendly, I think I will update it more often (yeah...keep promising....:))

I gotta say this trip was beyond fun. It's more what I expected....esp when we celebrated Lia's 21st birthday and welcomed her to the adult world. We laughed until our tummy hurts and we did that every second!!! The main things that we visited are Candi Borobudur, Candi Prambanan, Pantai Parangtritis, shopping at Dowa (yeah...I finally convinced my girls to convert to Dowa-ism) and most importantly Spa at Sheraton Mustika Hotel!!!

Check out the pictures for preview...and the rests are available on my Facebook (hail to Facebook which makes things easier!)

The happy faces! (Anett, Santi, Lia)

I wonder why ppl don't believe us as Indonesian....

Yes we do!

Sorry...I just gotta do this! Hahahaha..

Dowa at Godean (make sure you pay a visit to this shop....located at Godean KM25, or visit Novotel Hotel Solo or Sheraton Jogja for showroom!)

Spa at Sheraton Mustika (it's indescribable....It's amazing!)

My Gudeg and I

PS: I can't describe how fun this trip was...honestly I lost words! You have to be there to experience the fun we had....we are planning to go to Surabaya for our next trip...I really wish it comes true very very soon! Hahaha...I love you, crazy girls!

Penang and Kuala Lumpur Trip (July 2010)

I'm a little behind in updating my blog! I know that I will apologize and still be lazy. I may as well just don't say anything! Hahas!

This is the trip to Penang and Kuala Lumpur which happened in July 2010. It was my first time to Penang and the only one thing that amazed me about this place is the thing called Assam Laksa. I became so addicted to it...but the weather was too hot that I refused to take pictures of all details!

However, spending times with family is always the best and it's my favourite thing to do. We departed to Penang from Soekarno Hatta Airport on 16 July 2010. We took the 1st flight which was leaving right at 0600...oh my! Penang didn't impress me that much that I don't really remember every details. I only remember that we stayed in an apartment in Gurney Apartment. I was beyond happy to find out that the apartment is just next to Gurney Plaza, one the biggest mall in Penang.

On 18 July, we flew to Kuala Lumpur where I did nothing but shopping and eating! Hahahaha....I ended up with 5 pairs of shoes. My parents had to drag me out of Shoe Stores (read: Vincci) to stop me from buying more shoes! :)

We returned to Jakarta on 20 July and I gotta say that I should really stop going to Singapore and Malaysia coz I've been there waaaay too many times that I got so bored!

Pesiaran Gurney (it's where the good Assam Laksa and Char Kwetiaw are!)

Peranakan House

Kim Gary ~ my fav (our first lunch!)

Tiffany and Me! Hahas!

My Fav IKEA Meatballs!

Last lunch at Nando's before hitting Jakarta again!

The only thing good about this trip is that I got to spend with my family even tho' we're missing one person who was currently in Korea....hahaahah! But I think I won't be going back to Penang for fun...but I will definitely go back to KL just for shoes and IKEA!

PS: I really like the new lay out of xanga! It won't drive me nuts anymore! Kkkkk....
